My client is currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join a business critical programme focusing on redress and remediation.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Degree or equivalent in an appropriate subject, plus a relevant business qualification or equivalent experience
- A Business Analysis qualification is preferred
- In depth experience of Retail Banking financial services, preferably including mortgage products
- Experience of Redress and Remediation activity is also desirable
- In-depth experience of solution development, requirements management and process analysis on medium to large projects
- Specialist knowledge of business analysis and of industry best practice
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills, up to Function Leader level, being able to manage differing requirements across the business and manage any conflict
- Strong understanding of commercial, financial and legislative requirements
- Substantial understanding of the company's products and business strategy and the associated processes
- Proven experience of business analysis within financial services
- Experience of leading business analyst teams of up to 2, and potentially larger cross functional teams, by way of matrix management
- Strong knowledge and experience of Business Analyst tools and techniques
- In depth knowledge and experience in the use of appropriate lifecycle methodologies
- Strong member/customer focus and ability to promote this same focus and culture across the wider team
- Thorough knowledge of project governance and risk management frameworks
- Strong focus on initiating and leading continuous improvement
- Strong level of planning and organising skills
- Good coaching skills
