Description

My financial client are currently looking for a Solution Hardware Rationalisation Architect.

Description - To architect successful solutions for large and complex projects delivering significant savings and benefits to the Client's Global Commercial Banking business. Participate in architectural governance processes and actively support risk management activities within and across projects

Responsibilities -

* Designing successful architectures and solutions within a given scope, budget and timeframes
* Interviewing key stakeholders to understand and document requirements
* Preparing solution clear choices to provide analysis on benefits/challenges
* Identifying operational and delivery risks
* Senior stakeholder management
* Communicating the medium and long term vision to solve the business challenges
* Managing resources from direct and virtual teams
* Strategy definition, planning and budgeting
* Facilitate and chair architecture review sessions
* Produce various system and data road maps in conjunction with enterprise architecture colleagues

Ideal Candidate -

* Relevant product knowledge including knowledge of IT Cost Savings, Regulatory Projects
* Experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. Banking, Software Delivery, Large Organisations, Matrix Management, a track record of providing architectural guidance and input to complex programmes and projects
* Experience working in relevant market/context, i.e. Banking and Finance, Enterprise and Solution Architecture, Rationalisation, Cost Reduction
* Past working experience in a relevant role, i.e. System and Infrastructure architecture, Capacity Planning, Cost Reduction
* Past working experience on relevant systems, i.e. System Monitoring, Capacity Planning
* Availability to undertake the travel required for this role, i.e. Project commitments may require limited travel from time to time
* Relevant product knowledge including knowledge of IT Financial Management is desirable but not essential
* Experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. Multinational Organisations is desirable but not essential
* Experience working in relevant market/context, i.e. Commercial Banking, Business Analysis, Financial Analysis is desirable but not essential
* Past working experience in a relevant role, i.e. Rationalisation architect is desirable but not essential
* Past working experience on relevant systems, i.e. Teamquest, Microsoft SCM is desirable but not essential
