ROLE: Software Engineer

LOCATION: Edinburgh

RATE: £35-40 Per Hour

DURATION: 5 Months

I have an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer for my client based in Edinburgh to develop a fully functional Linux Wifi (mac80211/cfg80211) driver for one of the company's products. You will implement an AP supporting 802.1X on an embedded device using hostapd.
Essential Skills:
  • WiFi driver development (mac80211)
  • Linux Kernel Development (in the network driver area)

Desirable Skills:
  • WiFi Protocol Stack
  • Experience creating SoftAPs using hostapd
  • Linux Networking
  • Linux BSP development
