Electronics Engineer, Analogue, Power Supply, Digital, EMC, Staffordshire, 6 monthsLOCATION: This role is commutable from Newcastle Under Lyne, Crewe, Stoke on Trent, Congleton, Stafford and Ashbourne.
THE PROJECT:
This is an opportunity to work on a brand new Electronic design project, working from concept stage.
For this role you should demonstrate strong Analogue circuitry experience (with Digital skills being a plus). You should have experience designing OR working with bespoke Switchmode Power Supplies, with knowledge of Low Noise and EMC design.
It is desirable if you have experience with photomultiplier tubes or transimpedance amplifiers.
As you are working from concept stage it is desirable if you can work from a system level and are comfortable working part of a team. You will be working with Engineers who specialise in Microprocessor, DSP and High Speed Digital / FPGA design.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
1. Analogue circuitry
2. Power Supply/ SMPSU experience
3. Dealt with Low Noise and Grounding issues
4. EMC
5. Knowledge of photomultiplier tubes, transimpedance amplifiers
6. Analogue to Digital / Digital to Analogue knowledge
