Role: Network Engineer with Telecoms ExperienceRate: Competitive

Type: 12 month
One of Ireland's leading Telecoms company based in the South of Dublin is looking for an experienced Network Engineer with 4 years experience in Juniper Switches exposure to RAN
This client is due to launch a nationwide LTE roll-out in the coming months and require a talented/experienced contractor to hit the ground running. The role is 80% Networking (routers, switches, IP Sec VPN etc) and 20% Telecoms (MPLS, BGP, RSVP, RAN etc).
The role requires:
- 4 years hands on Juniper Router&switches (JunOS), experience at an ISP Access, Core & Transit level
- Peering and Load Balancing experience
- Escalation point for 3rd level support & high end, blue chip customers
- Design multi access type BGP / AS network utilizing IP Sec VPN..
- Daily work involves configuration and design of the Telecoms companies infrastructure network utilising MPLS, BGP, RSVP, LDP, OSPF, L2 & L3VPNs, IP Transit, IGMP Proxy, PIM
Experience in the following areas are crucial:
- Juniper Routers & Switches
- Enterasys, Huawei, CISCO and Extreme Networks
- Stratex and Ceragon Microwave radio configuration
- JNCIA and CCNA
