A Leading contractor working on a long term framework agreement for Essex Water are looking to strengthen their commercial team with a Quantity Surveyor.This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to work for a growing company on a long term project.
The client we represent are looking to interview people immediately and start the right candidate soon after, they are offering an initial contract of 12 months for the right candidate.
Experience Required
- Water/Civils Exp
- NEC Contract EXP
- Sub-Contractor payments/Admin
- Pricing/Estimating
- Ability to work on own initiative
- communication with people of all levels
- Client communication
- Preparation of contracts, including details regarding quantities of required materials
- On-going cost analysis of maintenance and repair work
- Feasibility studies of client requests
- Analysing completed work and arranging payment to contractors
- Allocating upcoming work to contractors
- Site visits, assessments and projections for future work
