Description

I have an immediate opening for a Regulatory and Compliance Auditor with leading medical device company based in Clonmel.

The Regulatory Compliance Auditor performs assessments of the company quality system to determine whether the quality system is in compliance with the established requirements and to evaluate its effectiveness.

Key responsibilities:
- Conduct audits of the company's quality system, as per defined audit schedule.
- Creates audit checklists based on the assigned audit area, reflecting all applicable regulations and pertinent quality system/procedural requirements, and obtains approval from Lead Auditor as appropriate.
- Evaluates the adequacy and compliance of systems, operations and practices against regulations and company documentation.
- Formulates and documents nonconformities and obtains concurrence with responsible management.
- Tracks issues through to closure including reviewing the corrective action taken.

Education & Job Skills:
Experience/Education:
- National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) level 7 qualification in a relevant discipline.
- 2+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

- (Technical/Business Knowledge (Job Skills)) General knowledge and basic application of business concepts, procedures and practices. Will perform this job in a quality system environment. Failure to adequately perform tasks can result in noncompliance with governmental regulations.
- (Cognitive Skills) Learns to use professional concepts and company policies and procedures to solve routine problems. Works on problems of limited scope. Minimal independent decision making.
- (Influence/Leadership) Begins establishing and cultivating a network of internal resources to facilitate completion of tasks. Individual influence is typically exerted at the peer level.
- (Planning/Organisation) Completes daily work to meet established schedule with guidance from supervisor on prioritisation of tasks.
- Decision Making/Impact) May exercise authority within pre-established limits and approval. Failure to achieve results can normally be overcome without serious effect on the business.
- (Supervision Received) Work is closely supervised. Follows specific, detailed instructions.
- (Supervision Provided) Can provide direction and guidance to predominantly non exempt personnel, evaluate performance of and assist in career development planning for subordinates. Can be responsible for a local functional or process activity.
