Innovation has always been at the fore front of the life sciences industry. Over the past few years the economic climate, couple with various other pressures have lead to cut backs to the R&D budgets of some companies, a few of which leading organisations in their field.My client are very actively pursuing their strategy of high R&D investment, and as a result are expanding their operations in almost all of their sites across Europe. Based within commutable distance to Zurich, together we are searching for a Quality Assurance Specialist.
This is a non-managerial role, but one with high autonomy and working in a very stable and experienced team. There are many chances for development, on and off the job trainings, and for future career progression.
Within the role you will be required to ensure compliance with the corporate Quality Manual, implement any necessary Field Corrective Actions, manage PMS activities and to be responsible for local product release. In a very broad QA role, you will also work within complain coordination, supplier QA and internal and external audits.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a university degree in the lifesciences industry and will have had around 3 to 5 years experience within a QA or quality management position, in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry. You should be a self-starter, able to communicate with many individuals and sub groups within a large organisation, and have a basic knowledge of regulatory affairs and manufacturing. English and German are a must, knowledge of French would be a strong advantage.
