Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Trainer/ ERP Trainer/ Kerridge Trainer to join a global organisation that has just entered the pilot stage of a major Business Change Programme. We require several Trainers to rollout training to branch staff and the rollout is expected to run until the end of 2015.

The organisation are implementing Kerridge into all of their offices UK wide (270 + branches in nationwide), and training is to be delivered in a formal classroom setting and will be held in 34 training clusters which are located throughout the country..

The role:
You will initially undergo an 8 week Train the Trainer period and following this you will allocated to one or more Training Clusters, where you will be responsible for delivering the training materials to groups of 7 people at a time.
When not actively delivering the Training, you will be involved in updated to the Training Materials and will be providing support to other Trainers in the field.

Skills and Experience:
Must have the following:
- Have a professional training background with a proven track record of successful engagements.
- Experience of working within a project team and previous involvement in training rollouts.
- Have experience of ERP/Sales Order Processing systems and the typical processes involved in a brnach network.
- Hold a recognised training qualification.
- Excellent communication and people skills

Ideally will also have:

- Experience of Kerridge K8

Responsibilities:
- As the Trainer / Training Consultant / Training Manager you will be required to deliver formal training sessions to groups of up to 7 students. Please note that although we will attempt to please you in clusters close to where you live, there will be a need for travel and overnight stays for extended periods in some of the clusters.
- Provide support for branches during the go-live period (although no implementation activities are required).
- Attendance at the Train the Trainer event.
- Classroom delivery of previously prepared training material.
- Floorwalking and support activities.
- Refresher activities including one to one training.
- When not actively training, updates/amendments to training materials based on feedback received and new releases.
- Provide support to other trainers (e.g. covering sickness, answering questions, investigating issues, etc)

Candidates must be happy to travel and work UK wide. Your travel costs will be paid from your home location to the site where you will be delivering training, and your accommodation (if needed) will be paid for by the company in advance. You must be able to drive and you must own a vehicle.

The rate: £ per day (plus time and a half over the weekends)

Contract length: 12 months with a high chance of extension (the programme will last for a further 2 years)
