**NEW ROLE**Job Title: Cost (PLICS) Accountant
Employer: NHS Acute Trust
Location: South Coast
Rate: £ Per Day
Contract: Maternity leave
Real Staffing are recruiting on behalf of a large NHS Acute Trust on the South Coast who require an interim Cost Accountant to support their on-going PLICS programme.
As the Cost Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring that the organisation maintains its costing systems and provides accurate financial information.
As the Cost Accountant, your primary duties and responsibilities will include:
> Collecting and processing PLICS data
> Making sure the data is correctly formatted
> Analysing the data for any variances
> Loading data on to the costing model
> Producing results and financial reports
> Maintaining the current financial model and identifying improvements
> Ad-hoc costing support to the finance department
Essential Skills and Experience:
> NHS Acute Trust
> Costing Background
> PLICS and SLR Knowledge
> Strong Excel & System Skills
PLEASE NOTE: Candidates without all of the experience listing above will not be suitable for this post.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Cost Accountant who is looking to develop new skills within a leading NHS hospital.
