SIEM SOC Lead - London - 12 Month Contract - siem, soc, arcsight, security, cissp, cismA great opportunity has arisen working for my London based client. They are currently looking for a SIEM SOC Lead to join their team on a 12 month contract.
The successful individual will be an experienced, knowledgeable technical lead, skilled with using the latest SIEM technologies from the design of the product to the installation.
The lead will be responsible for providing a technical design for businesses, with their sizes on a fluctuating scale. You will provide technical consulting as well as general advice on solution management, system modification and advice on the completion of proposals.
The lead will also help their team out whenever possible by giving an insight into their technical knowledge at any relevant time, as well as engaging in problem solving on a technical level (the technology involved would be widespread across my clients vast and well-known backlog of products). The consultant will answer to the SIEM project manager.
The right individual will require the following:
-Knowledge of popular SIEM tools (ArcSight, Nitro ESM etc.) and be able to demonstrate knowledge in any relevant technical areas.
-Ability to perform technical lead consulting, in addition to being able to actively communicate with management whether inside or outside of office.
-Ability to jump into a lead role, completing tasks such as summarising the prognosis and impact level of a threat.
-Ability to participate in and solely manage team of consultants, as well as provide training.
-Experience working in a SOC and on projects.
-Technical certifications related to or surrounding areas of SIEM (CISSP, CISM) are highly advantageous.
-Full UK driving license is required.
