Salesforce Administrator / Financial Services / Permanant / London / £25k - £30k

My client, an expanding global financial services company, is looking for a Salesforce administrator to join their expanding team based in central London.

As a Salesforce Administrator, you will have the opportunity to work directly with our large international partner base and internal users, improving the way they use Salesforce to drive the customer and sales processes. You will join a team who are responsible for the effective operation and support of Salesforce.com, and work alongside our existing administrator to increase the capacity of the team.

You are passionate about technology and have a keen interest in learning and self-development. You will work alongside team members who will provide advice, on the job training and project work. You will be responsible for the daily administration and support of our Salesforce application.

Responsibilities include
  • Troubleshooting system issues, managing system upgrades, developing workflows, documenting processes, and providing technical support for users.
  • Providing expertise in the effective operation of the application.
  • Configuring the Salesforce.com application. This may include creating or updating UI views, updating standard and custom fields, creating validation rules and more complex customisations to meet specific business requirements.
  • Identifying best practices to enhance and increase users' knowledge and adoption of Salesforce.com.
  • Developing training plans, materials and documentation for users and lead ongoing training sessions.
  • Coordinating testing, which includes devising test plans, creating test cases, establishing protocols and appropriate testing environments
  • Developing reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality together with integrity as well as assisting users with report design and management.
  • Completing bulk imports and exports of data.


Skills and experience

Essential
  • Candidates must demonstrate at least 12 months experience in a Salesforce.com administration position, preferably within a financial organisation. Their day to day duties must have included analysis, trouble shooting and problem solving.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail.


Preferred
  • The ability to effectively manage and prioritise projects.
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering quality solutions in a fast-paced, challenging environment where the decisions you make will have a large process impact.
  • Creative and analytical thinking with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Conversational / GCSE (or equivalent) standard in at least 1 additional language
