SAP Business Process Analyst - Sales and Materials

The Business Process Analyst is a core member of the SAP Back Office team whose role it is to deliver business process re-design within the SAP solution. They liaise with business stakeholders to understand requirements and work with technical team members to bring those requirements to life. The common template of business processes should be followed in line with delivering legislative and high business benefit changes. Additionally the role will be required to work with and support I.T. projects that require changes/ interfaces into SAP for successful delivery.

This is what we need you to do...

The Business Analyst role comprises:

* Business Process Definition - Analyse current business processes and propose best practice improvements in alignment with the SAP SD/ MM modules

* Business Change - Manage any impact to business change together with the Project Management/ Group Stakeholder network and co-ordinate their delivery through to release

* Reporting & Forms - Identifying report & forms changes, work with the reporting stream to ensure reports & forms are accurately specified

* Testing - Work with business stakeholders to define test scenarios and ensure effective testing for the agreed solution

* Training - Enhance training material as a result of enhancing the common template, deliver training sessions to end users

* Data Migration & Cutover - Work with the Back Office team and Master Data team to ensure data changes are understood and support the data migration & cutover activities

* Support - Assist technical support team in supporting those countries that are already live with SAP aiding the delivery and training of system enhancements

This is what we need you to have...

Skills/ Knowledge

Required

* Experience of Sales Order Processing and Billing within an operational role, ideally with use of software from a leading ERP vendor

* Working knowledge of a selection or all of the following Sales process areas:

o Sales Pricing

o Credit Management

o Delivery Management

o Credits & Returns Processing

o Rebate Processing

* Experience of using SAP Logistics module (MM)

* Experience of project delivery / business change within the Sales operational area

* Determined to identify solutions and be prepared to overcome obstacles to follow through plans to completion; focused on delivery

* Ability to communicate complex ideas simply

* Experience of presenting/training on a 1:1 basis and to groups

* Process focus and detail oriented

* PC literate, experience of Microsoft Office

* Strong written skills

* Experience of project delivery/ business change

o Reviewing business processes

o Identifying areas for improvement

o Working with IT teams to turn business requirements into system specifications

o Testing the developed solution

o Handover / knowledge transfer / training to business users

* Appreciation of the role of systems within business operations/Impacts of major change
