Supply Chain Manager.

£55,000 - £60,000

Basic Qualifications:

Supply planning experience, Experience in manufacturing environment desirable.

Qualifications Desired :

  • Operational SAP (ECC/APO environment)
  • Degree level educated or similar

  • Experience within the FMCG Sector.
  • Excellent communications skills in English.
    Qualification within a supply chain discipline, Logistics, Supply Manager, Demand Manager, Operational Manager.

Job Details & Responsibilities.

To arrange and create resilient business supply plans for leading global consumer brands including Sensodyne, Panadol and Zovirax which satisfy customer service desires.

Create long lasting high quality relationships with manufacturing sites and Customer service to completely understand the entire supply chain, therefore there will be an improvement in Customer Service as well as a reduction in E2E inventory.

Thorough internal measurement and reports of supply planning KPI's.

Job role description.

  • Produce supply plans with factories and sales to deliver stock to support sales forecasts.
  • Collaborate with Demand Planners to understand the forecasted requirements and manage supply to achieve and constantly maintain high levels of customer service whilst meeting/over achieving inventory targets.
  • Locate key Supply / demand imbalance, evaluate options and recommend solutions.
  • Manage seasonal planning and campaigning with factories and demand.
  • Optimise stock holding levels within the total supply chain through a detailed understanding of the key planning parameters and e2e process (lead time, supply reliability, demand variability, service objectives etc) and in line with capital targets.
  • Assist in supporting factory production initiatives and any improvements in ways of working.
  • Maintain stock levels for NPD and relaunches / discontinuations as well as run ins/outs. Discover and collaborate with National account managers, artwork and marketing in resolving residual and slow moving stock issue.
  • Collaborate with central consumer supply chain departments, Marketing, Regulatory etc to ensure all requirements are co-ordinate for pack introductions/changes.
  • Communicating with on average 5-10 factories, (both internally and third party suppliers), between 5 and 10 Brand managers and demand planners also with relevant customer service team members. Managing between 80-150 SKU's with a revenue of between million
  • The fast changing nature of the business and the dynamic market conditions will require a high degree of flexibility and adaptability and the ability to work under pressure.
