I'm currently recruiting for a Regulatory reporting, technical and Policy Manager under the following specifications:

Title: Regulatory Reporting Manager

Location: Manchester

Duration: 3 months

Rate:£500 - £550

The purpose of this role is to research, review, interpret & provide technical guidance for existing and emerging regulatory reporting requirements to the regulatory reporting teams and the wider business.

Initially, the assignment will be focussed on providing support on a regulatory project to attest to the Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR)
  • Responsible for interpretation of rules around new reporting requirements (including COREP Capital, Liquidity, FINREP & FDSF)
  • Responsible for validating new business requirements (including COREP Capital, liquidity, FINREP & FDSF)
  • Consulted on for view from Regulatory Reporting Production area regarding rules on existing returns (IRR / Bank of England)
  • Responsible for joint first line review of new regulatory reporting returns until successfully embedded in production team (at least first iteration of return).
  • Responsible for conducting technical regulatory reporting workshops for other members of Regulatory Reporting function and across the business.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining a "statement of compliance" across all regulatory reporting.
  • Consulted on issues in relation to issues arising on existing COREP reporting process & trouble-shooting, providing review and challenge (manual solution).
  • Responsible for participating in the successful testing of strategic reporting solution.
  • Responsible for analysing change that impacts regulatory reporting (handbook notices, consultation papers, policy statements), and feeding into the regulatory reporting change process.
  • Responsible for monitoring / updating PRA permissions and waivers in relation to regulatory reporting, and assessing impact on the Bank, and gathering information that will aid management decision-making in this regard.
  • Consult on disclosure / treatments in relation to capital management tables for year end accounts / Pillar 3 reporting
