NHS Contracts Manager - Band 7My client, an NHS CCG based in London who are looking for an interim Contracts Manager to join their highly successful team for an initial 3 month contract.
Focusing on the Acute & Community portfolio the role will be paying between £250-£280 per day dependin on experience.
Reporting into the AD of Contracts you will be responsible for supporting & maintaining relationships with providers & commissioners alike to ensure desired outcomes are achieved.
You will work under the direction of senior colleagues & will have an influential role in the delivery of the contract cycle.
Day to day duties of the Contracts Manager:
- Ensure external & internal relationships are at a high standard in order to achieve desired outcomes
- Work alongside all members of the team & assist in negotiations where necessary
- Engage with clinicians in order to support relationships with providers
- Provide robust contract management & ensure KPI's are logged & up to date
- Organising meetings with providers & engage with them to ensure they are adhering to all agreed aspects of contracts
- Take notes in above meetings & make sure admin is always to a high standard
- Support the development of pathway changes
- Provide constant reports & updates to Senior Leadership team & board members
Requirements for the Contracts Manager:
- NHS contracts experience is essential
- Good knowledge of the standard contracts
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Detailed understanding of acute services
- Community experience would be ideal
- Team player
- Excellent negotiation & influencing skills
- Able to understand financial issues
- Able to demonstrate good relationship building skills
- Ability to adapt to change & proven background in ensuring outcomes are reached
