I have an immediate opening for a Quality Engineer (Line Support) with a leading medical device company based in Co Clare. This is a maternity leave contract position salary and is an excellent opportunity to join the company throughout an exciting growth phase.Responsibilities:
To provide line support for chemistry, haematology and immunoassay products including but not limited to the following:
* Process and design change support
* Support transfer of products between manufacturing sites
* Review of process validation protocols and reports
* Facilitate and participate in process and design FMEA activities
* Act as a quality representative on design change projects
* Review projects at each phase and ensure compliant closure of Design History files (DHFs)
* Duties as prescribed by the R & D Quality Manager.
Education/Experience:
* 3rd level qualification in Science, Engineering or Quality Assurance.
* Minimum of 2 years experience in a highly regulated (FDA desirable) healthcare or related environment.
* Desirable to have previous experience in Manufacturing Quality, Process Validation and/or FMEA/Risk Management
* Excellent interpersonal / communication skills
* Strong team member with the ability to identify and drive quality improvements
* Excellent planning and organisational skills
