Clinical Midwifery Manager required for a Large Acute Trust in the East of EnglandI am working with a Large Acute Trust in the East of England who are seeking to appoint an Interim Clinical Midwifery Manager.
The successful post holder will provide professional leadership and management support for the maternity service. As a member of the Midwifery Management Team you will work closely with the Head of Midwifery to maintain and improve the maternity care given by the Trust.
Must have the following experience:
- Experience in Clinical Governance and Quality improvement
- Experience managing Matrons
- Experience managing the Labour ward
- Implementing the trust/departmental policies and procedures.
- Experience Supporting band 7 midwives and specialist midwives
- Formulate and implement teaching and learning strategies
- Proven experience of managing resources including budgetary control
- Thorough understanding and knowledge of key indicators of excellent quality care.
- Effective communication and relationship skills
