Your tasks:
- Responsible for ensuring that ASICs (for use in electronic braking control, airbag, and driver assist systems) are developed according to ISO26262
- Close Collaboration with suppliers
- Define system architectures with focus on microcontrollers and ASICs
- Develop technical safety concepts
- Develop safety work plans and ensure timely completion of deliverables internally and at suppliers.
- Agree DIA (Development Interface Agreements) with suppliers
- Develop single point and latent point fault metrics and dependent failure analyses
- Ensure verification of ASICs against safety requirements
- Present and defend the customer's safety concept and process to auditors
Your qualifications
- Good knowledge of the functional safety standard ISO 26262 and experience in its practical application in product development
- Experience in electronics/ systems/ software design and development
- Experience in mixed signal ASIC development/ design is highly desired
- Strong program management and communication/networking skills
