Compliance Desk ReviewsOne of Europe's largest investment banks is hiring for a seasoned compliance professional with solid experience carrying out desk reviews across FI, FX and equities desks.
The bank has over 100,000 staff spread across Europe and is a prominent player within the investment banking world. The bank is big enough to support and challenge you, however working as a part of a smaller team you will be exposed to a broader remit of work (still specialising on desk reviews). In my personal opinion, this is an opportunity not to be missed.
With this being an experienced hire, we are looking for someone who requires little or no hand holding. You will be at the mid to upper end of a VP / Senior Manager grade. With his role paying between £80,000 to £90,000 p/a. it should give you an idea of the calibre of individual we are looking for.
Desk reviews will cover - fixed income bonds desks, equity desks, LIBOR and EURIBOR desk and other business areas as required.
You will need to be strong when it comes to:
- Gap analysis.
- Fact finding.
- Stakeholder engagement.
- Working with the business / front office staff.
- Worked heavily of COBS and has a strong understanding of products covering the areas being reviewed.
- Thematic reviews.
