Job Title: CIP Finance LeadEmployer: NHS acute trust

Rate: £ per day
Contract: 3-6 months
I am working on behalf of a NHS acute trust which requires an interim CIP Finance Lead to join its Project Management Office (PMO) for a period of 3-6 months.
As the CIP Finance Lead you will be challenged with helping the trust to improve its financial performance by supporting the Head of PMO and ensuring the delivery of significant Cost Saving Projects (CIP).
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and tracking current CIP schemes
- Identifying and developing new CIP schemes
- Management accounting for the PMO
- Providing financial support to the Head of PMO and PMO Programme Managers
- Liaising with senior budget holders
- Providing project consultation to the finance department and clinical staff
- Reporting on the financial performance of PMO projects
- Ad-hoc project work
The trust is looking for candidates with the following background and skills:
- NHS acute trust
- Part-qualified accountant (or higher)
- CIP or finance projects
- Operate at band 8a/b (or higher)
PLEASE NOTE: Candidates will not be considered without previous accounting experience within an NHS acute trust.
