The company offers fast trading infrastructure at professional prices. In 2013 they started offering this service to retail investors giving them online access to 100 security exchanges worldwide at wholesale prices. Currently they are expanding the online brokerage within the European Union. From their office located in the centre of Amsterdam you will be working in the Finnish Business Development Team.
About the job
The first period, up to a year, you will focus on all internal processes and their product knowledge, as well as some compliance and risk basics. During this period you will also start with the CFA program. As soon as the first level of the CFA program is successfully finished, the team member will focus on one of the main knowledge areas. After passing the 3rd level of the CFA program the next step as country manager, marketer, compliance officer, risk manager, trader, or other financial specialism is available. All the different country teams are very international, and consist of all professionals who have affinity with financial markets.
Your responsibilities
- Perform market research to prepare the launch of the broker.
- Give support in PR and Marketing activities.
- Manage customer calls and e-mails, in order to extend existing contracts and acquire new business.
- Be knowledgeable about financial products traded on the financial markets.
- Remain knowledgeable about all organization's products and services to facilitate sales efforts.
- Educate yourself with different disciplines needed to operate the broker.
Your profile
- Bachelor/Masters degree in Finance/Economics or similar.
- Native Finnish speaking.
- Ambitious, motivated, willing to learn and grow.
- Experience / affinity with finance is a plus.
