The Senior Storage Engineer provides the design and implementation support of storage infrastructure components as it pertains to equipment procured for our customers..
The Storage Engineer will provide advanced technical support to design, build, configure and deploy storage equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for:
Setup and Deployment of EMC VNX, VMAX, VNXe, Xtreme IO, Isilon, Data Domain, RecoverPoint and VPLEX solutions.
Establishing and maintaining Storage architecture best practices, including procedures, guides, templates, and relevant documentation
Work closely with sales team and pre-sales engineering and outside vendors to effectively plan, deploy and maintain system changes.
Ability to acheive and maintian EMC storage certifications across multiple EMC storage platforms
Perform other duties as assigned.
5 + years' experience working in information technology required.
Strong knowledge of SAN and NAS Storage technologies from EMC.
Cisco UCS knowledge a strong plus.
Knowledge of EMC backup solutions
