A leading manufacturing company based in Gloucestershire is looking to recruit for a Quality Engineer to join there successful team
The successful candidate will ideally have a manufacturing background and be fully conversant with maintaining the ISO 9001 Quality System. Must be fully familiar conversant with SPC techniques. Good communication skills are required, as liaising with customers is a key part of this role.
The role as a Quality Engineer:
* Work alongside the inspection team, helping out with inspection and criteria when needed.
* Assist in Quality auditing, perform internal audits unsupervised
* Drive continuous improvement on the process and procedures
* Use problem solving skills to ensure non-conformances are at a minimum for the process and customer
* Interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications
* Be the point of contact for all quality concerns/issues

* Continuous Improvement knowledge
* Lean Experience - Kaizen, Six Sigma
