IT Security Manager
My client has a requirement for an experienced IT Security Manager to join their project.
The Role:
Deliver the expected quality of services for all operated services.
Provide appropriate response to all IT Security incidents impacting the Businesses
Develop IT Security Standards and Procedures to improve overall IT Security
Validate technical solution with the appropriate level of Security
Ensure the availability and capabilities of necessary resources
Validate quality and compliance of all services delivered by SOC Service Providers
Control and enforce the respect of processes for operations and changes
Manage L3 Experts/Engineers and L2 Support Team members
Manage SOC provider: lead operational Committees, manage escalations
Report on quality of services (SLA)
Monitor handover activities of new security service (verify maintainability, update processes and tools)
Drive continuous improvement of processes (ITIL Service Support processes), operation tools (ITSM, monitoring, SIEM ) and skills
Liaise with L1 Service-Desk managers and other L2 support team managers (DataCenter Operations)
Measure security service quality by building appropriate indicators
Publish security indicators, highlights and explains issues
Technical skills
- Technical skills : Firewalls, Antivirus, Vulnerability scanning tools, Proxies, VPNs, IPS/IDS
- Security operation tools (SIEM) and ITSM tools
- SOC Service Provider operational management
- Incident and Problem management
- Infrastructure Monitoring
- CISSP (or equivalent certifications)
- ITIL certification (or equivalent experience)
