Description

This role will be aligned to a specific high value strategic Consumer indirect sales partner (or small group of partners), or a high volume group of Business or Retail partners; and to a diverse group of internal & external stakeholders.

The role holder will be responsible for supporting the Partner Manager in reviewing the financial assurance, finance data quality and acceptance of the new commission's payment platform.

The role holder is also responsible for providing service excellence to TUK's indirect channel partners in relation to the launch of the new system, their commission payment, reconciliation, reporting and query management processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

The role holder will be responsible for supporting the commissions Partner Manager in the execution of the day to day operational finance processes in respect of the End to End indirect commission process.

The role will provide commercial/financial analysis and support complex review and modelling of commission plans and provide analysis and commercial insight on the outcomes.

The role holder will have operational responsibility for ensuring the timely, complete and accurate delivery of the monthly commission payment processes within agreed SLA's giving a clear focus to commercial and financial assurance and quality.

The role holder is also responsible for providing service excellence to TUK's indirect channel partners in relation to the commission payment, reconciliation, reporting and query management processes. The role will triage and respond to requests for information from partners

The role will review results of query investigations and approve query decisions and outcomes for communication with the partner and any subsequent actions arising; deal with escalations and manage the day to day relationship with the partner through the dispute journey.

The role holder will be responsible for managing the review and approvals process of the monthly commission SBI with all internal approvers, which includes hosting the SBI review call and the subsequent tiered approvals process

The role will be responsible for identifying, tracking and resolving to completion, any issues arising from data quality and financial assurance, data integrity and completeness and operational process reviews across the End to End indirect commission processes. The role is empowered to make decisions to resolve day to day issues to avoid escalations.

The role will audit and investigate any unusual activities or arrangements in order to safeguard TUK's financial interests at all times. Investigate any over payments for claw back to prevent recurrence.

Specific Experience/Capabilities

Financially and commercially astute and self-confident with demonstrable experience of understanding detailed level quality and financial assurance checks and understanding complex commercials and financials

Confident in communicating and influencing stakeholder relationships at various levels within TUK and externally within the partner organisations. Ability to articulate complex and detailed subject matter simply and in a thoroughly engaging manner

Proactive and tenacious approach to problem solving and the ability to make finance data driven decisions to influence and Deliver changes and improvement

Experience and knowledge of a large company commission calculation and sales incentive department and proven and demonstrable track record of delivering timely accurate workload

Excellent written, verbal communication and advanced financial analytical skills; Ability to analyse and interpret complex written information. Able to make sound and timely decisions based on analysis of the relevant information and deliver innovative solutions to complex problems. Ability to apply commercial and strategic awareness to problem solving

Ability to utilise standard MS Office products and the application of Business Objects and other finance reporting systems (desirable). Excel to an advanced standard (Essential). Knowledge of O2s billing systems and data sources (desirable)

Experience of financial and management reporting; Good understanding and experience of identifying and implementing data quality and process improvements. Able to articulate and evaluate the value created by processes delivered End to End within TUK

Proactively support company Policy and best practice in the area of legal and regulatory compliance, relying on own knowledge or recognising the need for specialist support where necessary

Drive and ambition to make Finance Operations a centre of business process and service excellence

Educated to A level standard essential; University degree desirable; Coupled with relevant commercial, financial and analytical experience across a range of matters in a complex and fast paced organisation
