Network Support Engineer- 3rd Line Support - Windows - Cisco -Hyderabad - India
My client has an urgent 12 month contract role for an experienced Network Engineer/3rd line Support Engineer to join project teams based in Hyderabad, India and Slough, UK. This is a consultancy assignment and the successful candidate must ideally be eligible to work both in the UK and in India.
The successful Network Engineer/3rd Line Engineer will be required to provide Network, Server and hardware support, assist with server migration and builds, Laptop and Desktop rollouts, and have some knowledge of Cisco networking (Routers and Switches). You will be required to provide support at different levels on a day to day basis and will need to have a demonstrable background of Windows Support, Telephony TCP/IP and Network Administration. Fluency in English is an essential.
Skills & Experience:
* Demonstrable Windows Support background, Office, Wintel, Active Directory - Microsoft Certifications ideal
* Good 2nd line/3rd line support experience, Networking, Windows Server, VOIP, TCP/IP
* Knowledge of Cisco networking Switches/Routers/telephony would be ideal
* Experience of network security, Firewalls ideal also
* A can do attitude and the ability to get stuck into all levels of hardware/network support
* Any experience of site moves/office relocation/desktop migrations would be ideal but not essential
* English language skills - Spoken and written are essential
