CORE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Support the design, development and delivery of specific elements of the branded customer communications experience aboce and below the line.
As part of this team you are responsible for supporting the delivery of branded customer communications, direct marketing, channel marketing, ATL (including TV, press, Outdoor, digital (bought and owned) and social chanels along with the timely planning, development and delivery of internal communications and processes, to support achievement of business and brand objectives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Support the development delivery of ATL propostions, creative and delivery of campaigns across all ATL channels
  • Support the planning, development and delivery of allocated programmes to deliver brand and channel objectives.
  • Support the development of strong, creative propositions and compelling campaigns that are built on genuine customer insight.
  • Develop close working relationships across the business to ensure optimum customer experience and achievement of channel targets.
  • Support the delivery of internal communications to effectively support, and maximise impact from, direct and channel marketing campaigns.
  • Work closely with other teams to appraise the performance of activity undertaken. Identify and implement changes to drive up performance.
  • Work closely with other teams to maintain a comprehensive market/consumer knowledge, and ensure all communications are grounded in genuine customer insight.
  • Support the relationship with third party agencies and suppliers to deliver cost effective, on brand/brief marketing to agreed brand and business objectives.
  • Manage the creation of clear and directive creative briefs and brief external agencies as required.
  • Deliver programmes within budget. Take steps to improve cost efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain detailed brand and channel knowledge within self, to facilitate strict adherence to regulatory policy.
  • Implement agreed processes to ensure that all communications developed are compliant with the relevant codes and regulations.

KEY CAPABILITIES, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.

  • Extensive Above the line, direct and channel marketing experience. Strong creative development and communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret and present brand, channel and sales MI.
  • Strong interpersonal skills both internally and externally
  • Effective decision maker.
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to understand complex data and the initiative to use this to drive performance improvement of programmes.
  • Proven creative judgment essential, with the ability to direct and manage agencies.
  • Strong self organisation and prioritisation, with the ability to work under pressure and to tight timelines.
  • A strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks within the financial services industry desirable.
  • A degree (or equivalent) in business management/marketing and professional qualification is highly desirable.
  • Internal communications experience desirable.
