FINANCE & ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ADMINISTRATOR - Immediate start - 3 month contract

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Part Qualified accountant or qualified by experience to join a well known construction and engineering company on a temporary 3 month contract basis.

The successful finance and accounts administrator will manage the production and distribution of Project cost reporting in order to supply the project with details of the costs incurred within a given time period to support period project financial results to management. You will undertake processing of supplier invoices for payment to support timely payments within agreed parameters and resolve invoice related queries.

Knowledge & Skills

Essectial;

  • Part qualified accountant, or working towards accountancy qualification or qualified by experience
  • Able to use Microsoft Office with an intermediate level of competence in Excel for data manipulation/data input
  • Good standard of numeracy
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to analyse complex sets of data
  • Significant management accounting experience in a project environment

Desirable;

  • Knowledge of COINS software
  • Knowledge of Rail/Construction Industry
