Front Office - Cost Management - Cost Accountant - Investment Bank
A leading investment bank are reviewing their Front Office cost base from a Front Office COO perspective and have a fantastic opportunity for a Cost Accountant to play a key role in analysing the cost of their sales and trading business.
As a Cost Accountant you will be responsible for analysing the strategic cost management agenda, looking at the cost base, including supporting projects to assess direct and allocated costs, for the FX, Rates, commodities, emerging markets and electronic trading businesses. This will entail undertaking cost reduction reviews, data analysis, process change, control implementation, budget management and performance management, and critically negotiating conversations and commitments with a diverse range of stakeholders,
You should apply for this role if you are/have:
- 5+ years investment banking experience in top tier global firms
- Qualified accountant is essential; Big 4 background preferred
- Experience on major cost management initiatives
- Experience within business management/COO function beneficial
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Degree educated or higher from a leading academic institution
This is an initial six month contract based London compensated at £450-£550/day.
