Position Overview >

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Interim Director - Global FP&A to join our team on a 12 month maternity cover contract.

Reporting to Senior Vice President Global Finance and Operations, the Head of Group Financial Planning and Analysis will be responsible for running several key processes in the organization:

1. The Annual Budget and Six Monthly Budget Update

2. The Monthly Forecasts

3. The Monthly Reporting and Analysis for Executive Management

4. The Monthly Reporting and Analysis for the major shareholder NTT in Tokyo.

This is fundamentally an individual contributor role, in which the job holder will also support the regional finance teams in their use of the key local systems to achieve the appropriate analysis within the financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities >

As an Interim Director - Global FP&A your responsibilities will include

> To support the SVP Global Finance in production of weekly and monthly management information including production of monthly slide deck for presentation to CFO and Japan, along with commentary and analysis of the actuals and forecast.

> To define improvement areas for financial/business performance including benchmark analysis.

> To ensure that the Company's financial accounting, reporting and control activities are carried out efficiently, effectively and in line with best practice, across the group

> To produce monthly management accounts and monthly, quarterly and yearly forecasts and informational insight into the Company's performance within the specified timescales

> To manage HQ Finance Controller

> To assist in the production and development of the Company's Business Plan and take the lead in the development of 12 month and 36 month budgets

> To identify and evaluate areas for improvement of profit with particular regard to cost reductions and methodology.

> Assist with Creation of new reports in the corporate reporting system as necessary

> Upload of Budgets into the corporate reporting system

> Upload of Forecasts into the corporate reporting system

> Budget preparation and design

> Forecasting preparation and design

> Involved in reconciling/reviewing and controlling corporate and interco recharges

> Support the regions in their preparation of Financial Reporting and Analysis

Experience Skills and Qualifications >

As an Interim Director - Global FP&A your skills and qualifications will include:

> Fully qualified finance professional (CA, ACA, ACCA or CIMA)A

> Advanced Excel skills including Macros and MS Basic

> Strong IBM Cognos TM1 skills

> Microsoft Dynamics knowledge preferred

> A collaborative and supportive working style

> Able to work collaboratively with stakeholders (Group HQ, Subsidiaries, NTT, NTT affiliates)

> Strong planning and project management skills

> Good written and verbal communication skills

> Able to influence and create buy-in without relying too much on power and hierarchy

> Strong and established experience of Financial Planning & Analysis work in an international environment with medium sized/entrepreneurial structures

> An enthusiastic finance professional who exhibits the right behaviour and positive attitude who enjoys problem solving and taking ownership of tasks

> A motivated individual driven by achievement, deadlines and with a can-do attitude

> Willingness to Travel occasionally

> Strong personality, able to gain respect and form good relationships both internal and external to the Company

> Team player willing to do whatever is needed to meet deadlines

> Experience in a European HQ for a Hi Tech US Multinational preferable
