Financial Accountant - Livingston - 9 Month Contract
I am currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant to work for a Global Pharmaceutical company. They are looking for a dynamic, outgoing and confident candidate to join their team.
Skills:
- Qualified Accountant
- SAP
- SOX
- Experience in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne v8.12 desirable
Responsibilities:
- To deliver in line with local and regional reporting deadlines, including creation of required journals, Profit and Loss Account and Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
- Support the Finance leadership team in delivering ongoing efficient and effective Business Plan and Forecasting cycles.
- Own and deliver the Corporate Reporting cycle and partner with local and regional management to deliver accurate on time information. This includes both forecast, actual and Business Plan information.
- Offer expertise financial guidance to all required regarding compliance and GAAP.
- Provide strong analytical support and value-add management information, including co-ordination of Sales Forecasting.
- Support the Finance Manager in analysing and reporting financial performance to local, EMEA, and Corporate Management in the U.S.
- Instil a culture of process improvement by challenging the status quo and delivering new processes and/or business solutions.
- Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and support the preparation for internal/external audits.
- Educate business partners on financial issues, concepts and ownership.
