Description

My Client is looking for a Senior Procurement Lead, who has extensive experience in Leadership, project management, public sector procurement, high calibre contract negotiation, excellent stakeholder engagement/management and someone who has worked in senior positions on multi billion pound major projects.

The role will also involve ensuring that risks and omissions in the specification are addressed to understand impact on cost as well as ensuring that the specification includes performance risk. The role may also require joint negotiation of these Supply Chain Contracts with external suppliers. In addition the role may require wider commercial activity to be undertaken such as contract management of existing complex contracts.

Candidates will be required to demonstrate experience and competence in developing negotiation strategies, underpinned by a successful track record of leading and influencing complex and large scale negotiations with Industry. They will need to demonstrate additional experience in Public Sector/OJEU and have excellent leadership, project management, planning, communication, stakeholder management and teamwork skills.
