Description

My client is a Government body seeking the support of an interim procurement professional with a strong background in running EU compliant tenders, including OJEU, ideally with experience in procuring medical consumables

Key outputs:

- to lead specific sourcing activities for the category
- provide professional procurement and commercial advice
- ensure that VFM is achieved by the business
- ensuring that a customer focused, compliant service is provided to the business

Key skills and experience required for the role:

- experience of OJEU and EU Procurement rules and regs
- strong customer engagement skills
- a strong work ethic
- experience of working in a healthcare environment beneficial
- a strong background in procurement and contract management, ideally gained in the public sector
- experience procuring laboratory consumables beneficial - chemicals, diagnostic kits, gases, re-agents
