Description
A Scientist is required to join a global biotech company located near Dublin for a 12 month contract.The Scientist operates in Primary Component Characterization Laboratory, part of the PD, Commercial Support organization. Within this team they work alongside Technical, Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
Defect Standards (Vials and Syringes)
* Preparation and maintenance of automated and manual test panels with Defect Standards
* Initiate and maintain the Chain of Custody for test panels
* Periodic review of automated and manual test panels
* Move Samples in/out from Storage location
* Log in/out the test panels
Manual Inspector Certification (Vials and Syringes)
* Technical development of manual inspection technique
* Provide technical input into the development of training materials to support manual inspector certification
Primary Containers Forensic Lab
* Support the forensic analysis for PC, executing tests and measures, including documentation of investigations on the Lab Notebook.
* Support problem solving and troubleshooting activities.
* Is responsible for the use and maintenance of the Lab Equipment.
* Provide technical input into investigation reports
* Maintenance of site Defects and Visual Aids Manuals
