INFORMATION SECURITY MANAGERManning Global’s Client is a world renowned and global leading telecommunications organization with activities in more than 20 countries across 4 continents. For years, its name has been recognized and best known for quality and innovative technology.
On behalf of our client, Manning Global is currently look for Information Security Manager, to join their project in Spain.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To support the business through the implementation and governance of the information security best practice to protect the business from both internal and external security threats, including potential brand and public relations perception risks.
• To ensure that the business, whilst having the appropriate security controls in place, continues to be able to operate in a flexible and fast moving manner.
• To formulate and execute Security strategy.
• Making sure that all services are appropriately risk assessed and risk managed.
• Maintaining and governing the risk register.
• Deliver vulnerability management and threat analyses support where required.
• Contributing to Security by Design to ensure security considerations are incorporated into platform and product development and if not risks fully understood and captured.
• To assist in the formulation of appropriate security testing and validation processes.
• Ensure that all relevant regulatory requirements are understood and applied appropriately including data protection regulation in each country where client operates.
QUALIFICATIONS/PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES REQUIRED:
• A degree in engineering or IT.
• High level of technical and data literacy.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working in IT Security of which at least 2 years in an IT/Network Security Role.
• Experience in Operating systems security, Web application security or Database security.
• Excellent interpersonal, influencing, administrative and management skills.
• Must be strongly self-motivated and able to present a credible and effective case for risk management and security requirements with tact and tenacity.
• Strong negotiation and report writing skills.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
• Detailed understanding of ISO27001 and how it affects business processes and entities.
• Detailed understanding of Risk Management methodologies and implementation (ISO27005, IS1 etc.).
• Ideally has a detailed level of understanding of the EU Data Protection frameworks and UK Data Protection Act.
• Fluent in English and other languages are a plus.
