Solutions design, Infrastructure solutions architect, technical architect, technical design, Vmware Cloud, Windows server, IaaS, Xaas, System Center 2012My client are seeking a technical focused solutions Architect who can come and work as part of a solutions design team doing end to end design solutions for multiple projects.
The vacancy has come from a permanent member of the team moving on to another location so has left an interim position for the right candidate.
The teams remit is architectural design of IT solutions and the strategic planning of infrastructure platforms leveraged by the client's shared service centre customers.
You will be engaged with multiple projects ranging from delivering a new UCS based data centre fabric that will also under pin a new VMware vCloud Enterprise Private Cloud. This maybe the first phase of a multi phased project towards a Hybris Cloud deployment model and the move towards ITaaS/XaaS as a service delivery model.
Key principles will be strategy planning, solutions identification, vendor selection/management and providing governance around service delivery.
Essential Skills and experience:
Significant experience of core Infrastructure and cloud technologies in Enterprise environment
Essential core technologies:-
Microsoft platforms, AD, SharePoint, Lync, Exchange etc
VMware
Storage - multi-tier SAN
Networking
Security
Cloud integration

Rate: £350 - £400
