Description
My Coventry based automation company urgently requires a Controls Project Engineer/Co-ordinator on a 3-6 month contract.
The candidate will be required to act as liaison between the key players responsible for fulfilling a complete production line for the automotive industry.
Such as Project management, Mechanical Conveyance design, Mechanical Tooling design, Controls contractor (hardware and automation software design), High level SCADA design, AND the end customer.
The experience of controls and automation is essential to have the foresight to identify any particular issues which may crop up as a result of incompatibility or cost effectiveness between mechanical and control interfaces, whilst at all times maintaining the customer expectations.
Therefore the candidate will have experience in this field including such installations. Specifications, Electrical design (Eplan), Drive systems (SEW, Rexroth), Siemens S7/WinCC, Networks (Profinet/Ethernet), will be at least familiar or if not experienced in these subjects.
The ability to create specifications from the customer's requirements, such as FDS is essential.
