My global client are urgently searching for an Financial Hyperion consultant to work in Netherlands on an assignment for minimum 12 months with an opportunity of an extension.

Job Title:
Financial Planning Functional Expert
Location:
Amstelveen, Netherlands
Job Purpose and primary objectives:
Bringing Functional Expertise to the team implementing centralized Planning processes
Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team):
Will be part of the Project implementation team. Primary responsibility is to analyse the Financial Planning requirements of Customer and help to strategically design and adopt a centralized planning process based on the industry best practices.
Typical job activities include:
- Functional Analysis of the Requirements
- Explain the industry and best practices, its attributes, processes and stakeholders
- Guide to adopt the best practices and initiate/help to initiate the change processes
- Review and design/business architecture and ensure that these are aligned to the best practices for budgeting, forecasting and Management Reporting
- Support User issues during analysis, elaboration and testing
- Help set up test data/scenario as required for testing
- Supervisory/Managerial responsibilities (please specify if the position will have persons reporting to it):
- Ability to guide/coach the team in analysing the requirements
Key Skills/Knowledge:
Skills Required are:
- Thorough knowledge and expertise of corporate financial planning from a Functional perspective
- Ability to understand and collect requirements for building applications
- Ability to suggest the best practice processes for budgeting and forecasting and technical best practices for Hyperion Planning
- Good Functional knowledge especially in Financial Planning
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Experience/knowledge of the EU Finance Regulatory laws/requirements
- Retail or Hi-Tech industry experience.
Experience required:
Total Experience 15+ Years (Senior/Director level)
Duration of the Assignment:
1 Year

Person Specification:
ie Negotiating, client facing, communication, assertive, team leading/team member skills, supportive.
Should possess good communication skills.
Should have team leading experience.
Should have client facing experience
Must have been closely involved in at least one implementation of a budgeting and forecasting process enabled by a centralized planning tool. Hyperion Planning is strongly preferred, other experience will be considered.
