Sales Manager to join a Top Tier Bank in London
The role holder will be required to:

  • Support customer resource through out sales cycle to on-board suppliers and provide necessary sales support.
  • To work with customers' resources, primarily procurement based, to ensure appropriate approaches recommended and suppliers engaged in the most effective, positive manner to gain commitment.
  • To work with New Business and Account Development Management teams in scoping customer solutions where complex or non-standard requirements have been identified, attending pre-award meetings and presentations where needed.
  • Manage stand-alone Supplier Enablement Projects, using available project tools and methodology.
  • Manage Performance Development, Self Development, Product, Industry and Economic Knowledge.
  • Support Enablement, Implementation, Technical and Sales Management best practices and governance.
  • Attend regular team meetings, contributing and sharing ideas, best practice and experiences to further develop the implementation and sales teams.

Key skills/experience:
Essential:

  • Must have extensive sales experience within a cards environment
  • Project Management experience
  • Working knowledge of the card schemes, their drivers, industry dynamics interchange and future product service deliverables
  • Full and extensive knowledge of Commercial Cards payment and data solutions
  • Must very strong digital product experience
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning & eProcurement software
