Huxley Engineering are market leaders in the Energy from Waste engineering sector who deal with the top Civil Engineering companies who build them.

Huxley currently have a requirement for a Civil Site Engineer on a new Energy from Waste plant based in the North West of England. The position is to start as soon as possible , it is likely to last for 12 months plus. At the end of the project there is good scope for the right candidate to move onto other project with the company.

The Site Engineer typical duties shall include carrying out feasibility studies, option studies, infrastructure assessments, design calculations, earthworks modelling, drainage assessments, road design and assist with the general delivery of projects. You will also be expected to organise surveys, site investigations as well as to communicate/liaise with a range of customers, third parties and authorities.

To be considered for the Site Engineer role you must meet the following criteria:

*Previous employment as a Site Engineer, Senior Engineer, Setting Out Engineer, Section Engineer, Civil Engineer or Sub-Agent.
*Previous experience on building sector projects -must include heavy civils.
*You will have a strong interest and natural aptitude in civil and/or infrastructure engineering.
*Good interpersonal skills and a particular focus towards project delivery with a determination to deliver high quality on time and within budget is a must, along with a working knowledge of latest industry software
* The Candidate must be a hard working individual all rounded who is willing to get involved with all aspects of the project
