FINANCE CHANGE PROJECT MANAGER - BIRMINGHAM - DYNAMICS AX
My client is urgently seeking a Finance Project Manager to support a key finance change programme.
Duration: 6 months
Location: Birmingham
Rate: £/day
Responsibilities:
- Identify and scope project and change demands against the Finance Team to propose a likely set of activities following meetings with requestors for change;
- Work with finance and requestors for change to prioritise and sequence change projects;
- Maintain a roadmap for change and establish a Microsoft Project plan to validate activities, dependencies, timing and costs;
- Conduct regular reviews with key contacts/change requestors, including approximately 1 day per fortnight visit to London office;
- Use knowledge of Dynamics AX to scope, and co-design work packages alongside existing AX BA, including high-level business case;
- Work alongside existing AX team to manage, schedule and prioritise AX Finance changes;
- Plan and oversee testing and deployment of all system changes for finance;
- Work to identify change management implications/training needs within the finance organisation;
- Produce monthly project report packs, including forecast versus actual budgets and resources.
Skills & Experience:
- Must have very strong finance experience;
- Proactive, strong leader;
- Working knowledge' of Dynamics AX, including what the product is designed to do at a high-level, (Note: you will not be asked to configure or setup AX directly or expected to know absolute detail on how to conduct a process);
- Should also be able to call on previous experience in managing multiple competing demands and effectively prioritise work
