Security Consultant - IR, SIEM, Operations, PCI-DSS, CyberWe have an outstanding opportunity with one of our key clients, on a large piece of work. As the Security Consultant, you will play a critical role in delivering an Incident Response plan for a number of end clients. The role itself is initially for a three months period, with large scope beyond that period.
The Security Consultant will be at a senior consultant level - ideally working in a consultancy background. You will need to have experience implementing security improvements, with a primary emphasis on incident response. My client is not looking for a hands on technical engineer, but a consultant who has planned and scoped out Incident Response & vulnerability assessments, for a number of key projects in the past.
Essential Skills:
- Extensive experience in scoping and implementing Incident Response Plans & vulnerability assessments, ideally in a consultancy environment.
- Advanced Information Security Management and Response knowledge (IDS, Firewall, Penetration Testing, Ethical Hacking)
- In-depth knowledge and experience of PCI - DSS & ISO 20071 standards (with an emphasis on PCI)
- Expert knowledge of Security Operations
- Professional certifications such as CISSP/CISM would be highly desirable.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience with SIEM - Ideally Alien Vault
The role itself will be based on site in central London, with small travel to client site that is close by. There may be flexibility for some work to be done at home where necessary, but this is very much a customer facing role.
