Head Resourcing is working on behalf of our fast growing Edinburgh based Financial Services client who are seeking to hire a Finance Migration Manager to Manage the Finance team's aspects of a system migration of lending products whilst getting directly involved in financial reconciliations and reporting.
Key Accountabilities:
*Lead the finance team's involvement in migration of lending products
*Define and build key reconciliations and controls
*Internal Control: Document the system controls as they relate to the Accounting & Finance team and ensure that they meet both internal and external audit requirements. Manage and changes and ensure an adequate audit trail is kept of all system changes
*Internal Audit: Manage the action plan agreed after every internal and external audit within the time-scales agreed and ensure internal control documentation has been updated
*Communication: Act as the lead at all project migration meetings ensuring that requirements are fully represented and realised
*Relationships: Develop close and mutually beneficial working relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers to ensure involvement is robust and effective
Skills, knowledge and experience required:
*Experience in the financial services industry
*Experienced in working on migration design and reconciliation
*Highly numerate, with excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
*Customer focused
*Proven track record of working on own initiative, with the ability to introduce fresh thinking to the role and the wider team.
*Strong relationship management skills
*Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
*Good PC skills essential, advanced use of Excel
*Knowledge/experience of General Ledger
*Ability to manage and develop internal and external relationships
