Description
An exciting Procurement opportunity has arisen with a leading Space Company located in Belgium dealing with cutting edge space products.
They are now looking for a someone with a solid understanding of the procurement process within the Space industry for a 6 month rolling contract.
The successfully candidate will be responsible for the follow-up of suppliers and subcontractors in the proposal and execution phase of space projects.
You will need to be a strong negotiator and able to perform reviews of contractual documents and execute contractual negotiations with suppliers and subco's.
You will have a background within the Space industry, an understanding of purchasing methodologies and ideally have a understanding of the methodologies used by the ESA.
The successful candidate will need an understanding of technical issues acting as the focal point between engineering and suppliers or subco's
You will be working on three programs -
- Flight integration project
- Flight product development project
- Electrical Ground Support project
In order to be considered for this role you must have previous experience working in procurement within the Space industry.
