Bilingual Trade Reconciliation Representative
Are you bilingual and well versed in trade processing or financial back-office processes in general? Our Trade Reconciliation Team in the Ottawa offices are looking to hire someone like YOU!
Reporting to the Team Lead, Trade Reconciliation & Year End Processing, this Bilingual Trade Reconciliation Representative position would be a great match for a real team-player who wants to take a leap forward in their financial services career. This individual will work in conjunction with other members of the department to deliver the highest standard of quality service and to support the overall strategic objectives of our organization.
The day-to-day accountabilities, in a nutshell?
- Balancing and reconciling client positions
- Shareholder management
- Corporate control reconciliations
- Maintaining the integrity of clients' accounts and the firm's control accounts
- Researching and monitoring the clearing of exceptions within the established guidelines, to ensure timely clearing, and escalation where necessary
Education & Experience:
- Excellent bilingual verbal and written communication skills (French / English)
- University Degree or College Diploma, preferably in Business Administration
- Strong computer skills including MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- 2 years' experience in the financial services industry in an accounting or back-office setting
- Completion of basic financial accounting courses or equivalent experience an asset
