Description
Server Security Analyst, Asset Management, LondonPatching specialist using Qualys and/or Shavlik tools for server security is required by my client who is based within the financial services sector in the heart of London. My clients need for a strong server security patching analyst is because they are looking to increase the security across the majority of their server estate, this is a very high profile project which will need to be completed within a time frame of around 5 months.
As the patching specialist you will be required to work across the server estate to make sure that all servers are secure and that all the tools which are being used are in sync with the client's requirements making sure that there is a specified roll back on servers using VMware.
This is a very strong team to work for and the location of the role will be based in London or it can be based in Edinburgh dependant on your location.
As the Patching specialist using Qualys and/or Shavlik you will be required to find the security gaps between the various servers be required to use best practices in strengthening the security.
This role needs a strong Qualys and/or Shavlik candidate who is capable of working within a large team that is delivery focused and someone that has experience in working to tight deadlines, this role will not be a lead or architect type of opportunity.
This is a 5 month contract with competitive day rates between £350 - £400pd.
Essential Skills
Extensive background with server patching using Qualys and/or Shavlik as patching tools
A good VMware background being able to take snapshots of servers before any changes and creating roll backs.
Candidates must be either immediately available or on a short notice period.
