Paying up to £140 per day, I am currently recruiting for an IT Support Engineer based in an idyllic setting in Kent Day-to-day duties will primarily comprise helpdesk and desktop support to a variety of IT competence levels. The successful candidate will ideally be an IT graduate with a minimum of a 2:2 in an IT related discipline, though comparable experience will be considered. The candidate will also have excellent communication skills, both oral and written combined with a strong drive to progress your IT career.The candidate must have good all round experience of PC hardware maintenance and repairs, experience of Microsoft Windows 7 and ideally MacOS, excellent attention to detail, have a can-do attitude and good organisational skills. Duties will include handling new support requests from initial diagnosis to resolution, installation and support of a wide range of Microsoft Windows desktop software, building and rebuilding PC and laptop deployments.
Exposure to software packages such as Microsoft Office would be beneficial and ITIL experience would also be highly desirable.
