IT Security Consultant, ISO27001, McAfee, CISSP, CISA
My Global IT client seeks the services of seasoned and experienced IT Security Consultant for an initial 3 month contract in France.
The IT Security Consultant has a crucial role in the coordination of all information security within the company. This involves working closely with all other IT security teams whether regional or local, and HR teams, Compliance and Legal.
Responsibilities:
Conduct and coordinate the implementation of new security solutions to minimise the risks. (Encryption, HIPS, Data Leakage, remote access, etc.)
Establish methods and suitable security tools and support their implementation
Driving applications security checks, infrastructure
Validate and approve requests to IT security and assist in the exception process
Be able to propose necessary improvements to countries to be relevant and consistent with the IT policy.
Ensure the daily monitoring of security applications.
Plan, coordinate and evaluate activities related to security systems, projects or programs.
Conduct safety system audits
Analyse malfunctions, and scope for improving safety systems.
Skills:
Good knowledge of security framework, including ISO27001
Good knowledge of the following areas: anti-virus protection (McAfee AV), remote access, Web Proxy technology, Firewalls, protection against loss of data, E-mail/MS Exchange, encryption, penetration testing, AD
Security certification like CISSP/CISA or similar desirable
At least 3 years of computer security experience
Significant experience in technical computing (server/network), preferably within an international company.
Knowledge and understanding of Incident Management and Exchange ITIL process a big plus
Experience in an outsourcing context and managed hosting contract
Fluent English required
Additional Language would be an advantage
Education:
School of Engineering (IT, telecom, general practitioner).
