This is a project manager role responsible for managing cross country projects involving the use of, development and implementation of information systems and technology to meet identified business needs. The ideal candidate needs to have a strong technical background, show proficiency managing a group of IT professionals and all ranges of business stakeholders.
The candidate needs to have a high degree of initiative to work independently and get things done in a complex Matrix organization.
The ideal candidate must have strong project management experience in launching collaboration tools including deployment of video conference capabilities (specifically Lync video) and identity management tools, as well as having a good knowledge of service management processes. Experience in disaster recovery testing projects is preferred.
1.Takes responsibility for the definition, documentation and execution of multiple medium sized projects or single large projects, actively leading all phases of the project.
2.Ensure that all activities comply with relevant Operating model procedures, including Service Management, Project Lifecycle Methodology (PLM) and Global Control Standards.
3.Owns overall responsibility for Project Delivery that is On-Schedule, within Budget and delivers an outcome that is outlined in the approved Scope.Effectively estimates and manages costs, timescales and resource requirements. Proactively escalates Risks & Issues to the Transformation/Program Manager and facilitates dialog that addresses complicated project level issues.
4.Responsible to communicate project status to relevant stakeholders, steering committee, executive sponsor, and project team.
5.Provides leadership to project teams (Infrastructure Analysts, Solution Designers, and Service Delivery etc.), ensuring that stretching business objectives are set and achieved and that people objectives are fully supported. Coaches and mentors project teams, and perform Project On-Board and side by side coaching with new contractors and employees.
6.Ensures that projects are closed out and where appropriate, subsequently reviewed, and that lessons learned are captured and actioned. Produces appropriate documentation to support these processes.
7.Reports and maintains key information on the current status of all projects and provides project visibility to Region/Sector business and BIS management and PMO teams in a common and consistent manner
8.Lends Project Management expertise to other projects to ensure the smooth implementation of the entire IT Project Portfolio.
9.Plays a key role in the establishment and development of Project Methodology processes and tools.
Skills/Experience required
*Strong technology background with minimum last 5 years' experience of managing complex technology projects
*3-5 years hands on experience on IT Finance projects :financial Planning & analytics and/or financial planning system
*Minimum 5 years' experience on Project Management methodologies, PMP, Prince2, etc
*PMP certification of benefit, but not essential.
*FMCG Experience is highly preferred
*Business-level proficiency in English in mandatory.
*Having previous experience as PM in a SAP Finance & Controlling Implementation is a big asset
